Top Google Cardboard VR Games

HTC Vice and Oculus Rift get all the attention these days. However, Google Cardboard is cheap and does not require a powerful computer and is easy to set up. Here are some of my favorite Google Cardboard Games.

Before you start, install the Google Cardboard App from the app store.

Proton Pulse

3D Arcade Brick-Breaking Action from a whole new perspective is covering 50 levels of gameplay.

All proceeds from this game go toward development of the next VR title "Vanguard V" which was one of the finalists for Best VR Game.

End Space VR

Recently release on Gear VR. End Space VR started on Google Cardboard.
End Space VR is a first person flight shooter where you pilot a space ship and destroy enemy spaceships. There is no ending, just wave after wave of increasingly difficult aliens.

Roller Coaster VR

List of games without nausea-inducing roller coaster? We have to have it!
Ride a deserted VR roller-coaster amidst a tropical island.

Game is free to download

Titans of Space

Titans of Space takes you on a guided tour of planets and stars, the point of which is to give the player a sense of the scale of just how big these planets and stars are. Everything you see is initially shrunk down to 1 millionth of their actual size, which means Earth will appear to be a 12.7-meter-wide holographic ball, rather than the giant 12,756km-wide ball of rock that it is.
You can control the speed of the tour using either a Bluetooth control pad or simply by looking and selecting menu buttons.

WAA! VR is a VR game where you play as a little astronaut as you go on adventures. As in most VR  games, just look at something to select it. You must defend the astronaut from incoming asteroids.

Shadowgun VR

One of the better looking Cardboard games around. This game needs a controller to play properly.
