VR Coming To Kellogg's Cereal

Remember the old days when cereal boxes would include action figures and various other movie tie ins?

Inside the Nutri-Grain box cereal box is a template for building a VR headset. The kits comes with a very simple lens kit. You then simply cut out and tape together the headset then place your smartphone inside and start watching.

Kellogg's has an official app for iOS and Android that includes a number of 360-degree videos, including a mountain bike ride, a wing-suit flight, and a downhill long board ride.

You can of course install Google Cardboard and use any of their apps such as VR 360 YouTube videos.

The bad news? This is only available to cereal fans in New Zealand. If successful it may end up in a cereal isle near you.
