Build an Oculus Rift Ready PC for $1000

Now that Oculus have released their official recommended hardware for the Oculus Rift. Many of you may be considering building or purchasing a new system. To help you out I have compiled a decent system that meets the recommended Oculus hardware for around $1,000. For about $1100 you can add more storage and the flexibility of a DVD drive. For $1275 you can step up to the GTX 980 from the GTX 970.

If you don't want to build a PC you can purchase a pre-build PC exactly the same as Oculus use for their Demos which is the Falcon Northwest Tiki for around $2,000
