Horror and VR games are potentially the perfect match. However, so far, they are mostly boring. Cradle of Links VR is going with a different approach to VR horror. Instead of the typical teleportation movement system where you press a button, and you jump to another location, Cradle of Links VR has gone with full blown natural FPS movement.
Teleportation movement has become the new norm these days to reduce nausea that many feel when the world around them move but you do not. However, many people do not experience VR nausea. If you are one of those people, then Cradle of Links VR may be for you.
The adventure horror game throws you in Great Britain in 1860 where the residents are transformed into powerful hominids, poisonous insectoids, and various beasts. You'll be able to kill them with maces, mallets, big sticks, guns and other melee weapons.
Cradle of Links VR is currently in development for the HTC Vive and is posted on Steam Greenlight, targeted for release in Q1 2017. If you're interested, head on over to Steam to vote for it.
