Cyrtek has added full support for the latest 0.8 Oculus SDK to their latest CRYENGINE 3.8.6 release as well as for the latest Touch Controllers.
CRYENGINE 3.8.6 comes with support for Oculus 0.8.0.0-beta SDK and Oculus Touch Controllers. However, in order to make use of these features you will need to install the Oculus 0.8.0.0-beta Runtime for Windows and install the GPU drivers that are recommended by Oculus.
Most of the other updates are mostly bug fixes and are listed in the release notes.
After the recent announcement of Crytek's Oculus Exclusive title The Climb we know Crytek is working hard on VR. With at least two dedicated teams working on The Climb for Oculus and Robinson The Journey for PlayStation VR. This will be much relief to PC gamers fearing Crytek had left behind their fans with the Robinson exclusive PlayStation VR title.
