ADR1FT Oculus Rift Preview

505games and developer Three One Zero bring the closest experience I've seen yet to the Gravity Movie.

“The Three One Zero team epitomizes the tremendous passion and creativity of independent game development,” said Ian Howe, president, 505 Games.  “I’ve wanted to publish ADR1FT from the moment I first saw it at DICE; we’re looking forward to working with Three One Zero to deliver a bold new gaming experience to all types of players.”

You start out as an astronaut just floating in a debris field (presumably after some serious space disaster)
You can float and move in any direction. The environment is open, though you cannot go too far as there is an oxygen limit and you'll be searching for the next canister. Oxygen runs down and you have to grab another tank to remain alive!

ADR1FT is designed to last about three hours. It will have full Oculus Rift virtual reality support so you'll see through the eyes of the astronaut adrift in virtual outerspace.

Here is what you won't find in ADR1FT. Guns or weapons of any kind. It is designed to be just a fun and exciting game. More of a first-person experience than first-person shooter (FPS)
You will also be on a mission, moving through five areas and confronting a series of procedurally generated puzzles involving electronics repair to continue to stay alive. How it ends? Well, we don't know yet.

Release date is TBD, will keep you all posted when we have a final date.

Until ADR1FT is released you can try out Blue Marble
