Few days ago we looked in detail at the new Oculus Ready program from Oculus and what this means to you in terms of hardware and cost. When I first created the Oculus Ready PC back in May the configuration came to $1050.

With the march forward in technology and the resulting drop in pricing the same configuration is now available for $981 and if you're open to mail-in rebates this further brings the price down to an amazing $931.

I've created the parts list out on PCPartPicker.com so you can see the prices in real-time and tweak the part list for your particular needs.

Remember this price is hardware only so I assume you're moving your existing Windows license to the new PC. If you need a new Windows license that will set you back another $99.
