Las Vegas goes into the second day of CES 2016. The crowds, the traffic, the people and lines all heading towards the gadgets. It all makes CES crazy and yet so fun.


Oculus continued to have long lines for their demos of the Rift and the Oculus Touch controllers. Showcased in their Media section of the booth they showed engineering samples of the final product in its nifty shipping box. Which certainly is of high quality and helps a little with the high price of the device at over $600 once tax is added.

Avegant Glyph

Avegant Glyph were showing off their Founder's Edition of the Glyph device which sells for $599 directly from their site. I'll be posting my impressions of their latest device shortly.


With 2.2 million square feet of space at CES. Your feet WILL get sore. What is someone to do? All over CES they have massage areas where you can kick back and relax. Of course since it is CES the machines are pretty awesome.

Not ready for VR yet?

If VR makes you nauseous or if you simple prefer seeing the world around you. Then perhaps the UltraWide Dream Setup from LG may be more to your liking. LG were showing off their newly updated curved 34" Ultra Wide Screen 34UC98 with a 3440 x 1440 resolution. Having tried the previous version the 34UC97 which has way too much light bleed in the corners, the 34UC98 seems to have greatly improved in this area.
