End Space just received its latest 1.2 update which adds support for the new Gear VR controller as well as new features, which until now, were only shown at the Samsung Galaxy S8 Unpacked event.

The new Gear VR controller offers a whole new way to fly your ship using the controller’s position and rotation. Use the thumbpad to fire missiles, boost, brake, and switch your ammo types.

Included in the 1.2 update is a whole new storyline with voice acting, improved AI, redesigned UI, new control options, animated pilot avatar, remappable gamepad input and more.

Brief History of End Space VR

End Space was originally developed by Justin Wasilenko, a wildland forest firefighter, turned web designer and by night independent game developer. In 3 months he developed End Space for the Gear VR after being encouraged by the critical success of End Space VR for Cardboard.

Now, the team has grown into a full-time VR studio. Congrats all!
