If you've made some cardboard VR or picked up a Google cardboard headset. Then you're in luck, you can view Google street view in the beauty of VR.
The Android version of Google's navigation app now has VR mode. This allows anyone with a Google Cardboard viewer to virtually walk around select cities all over the world. Risk of being mugged? Zero.
To activate Google Maps' VR mode. You simply open Street View and double-tap the refresh icon at the bottom right of the screen. This will split the display in two. Then you insert your phone into any of the many available Google Cardboard viewers to experience the virtual reality effect.
